Tournament Rules

Team Composition:
- Each team consists of 2 players.
- Each team will have 2 fielders from other teams assigned to them for the match.

Player Registration:
- Players can register individually or as a full team.
- All registered players will be placed into teams before the tournament starts.

Match Format:
- Each match will consist of 4 overs per team.
- Teams will bat for their full quota of overs.
- Bowling team has to finish their overs in given time to avoid penalty ( 3 runs).

Scoring:
- A run will be scored when batters run between the wickets or hit boundaries.
- If a batter gets out, 3 runs will be deducted from the team’s total score and batters will change ends.
- After hitting a boundary, batters will change ends.
- Bye, leg bye, over throws, no ball, wide ball- Everything will count.
- No Ball will result in free hit and ball will have to re bowled.
- 1 run for Wide and No Ball.

Fielders:
- Each team will have 2 fielders from other teams for each match.
- Fielders will rotate as needed but must respect the rules concerning their role in the game.
Tournament Structure:

Pools:
- The tournament will be divided into 2 pools.
- Each team will be assigned to a pool for the group stage.

Matches:
- Each team will play a minimum of 4 games during the tournament.
- Match schedules will be created to ensure all teams within a pool can compete against each other.
- Matches will be played in a safe environment- wooden bat and soft ball ( wind ball).

Points System:
- Teams will earn points based on match results (e.g., 2 points for a win, 1 point for a tie, 0 points for a loss).
- The top teams from each pool will advance to the knockout stages if applicable.

Fair Play:
- Teams are encouraged to play in the spirit of sportsmanship.
- Any unsporting behavior may result in penalties or disqualification from the tournament.
- Umpires decision will be final.
